Hello!  Welcome to some straight talk with a Southern woman.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I look forward to being part of your life as we talk about all the things women like to talk about!

I am a woman born and raised in the South.  I lived in a small town until I moved to the city in my 20s.   I have been a professional woman and a stay-at-home mom. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and an aunt.  I love to read but don’t watch much TV (except some sports).  I get updated through my iPhone, the Internet and Facebook.  I can still talk on the phone and am not afraid to have conversations that are not over text or email. I am entrepreneurial in spirit. I think I am right most (if not all) of the time, but will admit if I am wrong.  And I will listen to your opinion and love you even if I disagree.  I can be bold in my speech and not so politically correct.  Some of my opinions may be viewed as conservative, racial or even stupid.  I believe there is good in everyone. I believe that everyone is in charge of their destiny.  I abhor laziness, blaming and excuses.  I love forgiveness, patience and hard work.
